Another medal added to my wife Tiffany’s and my collection.
This was our first running event of 2023 and the second time we ran the PARK AVE 5K PRESENTED BY ADVENTHEALTH.
This run is in Winter Park and one of our favorite towns in Central Florida to visit and although it’s not too far away from home, we rented a room nearby to get some extra sleep.
We got up and made it on time to pick up our bib and shirt. The shirt from last year was better, but it’s not like we put it on to wear at the run today.
My running time result was one of my worst, but I ran the whole thing and my hamstring behaved, but my heel is barking lol.
Again, staying at a hotel near the places we are participating at running events makes things so convenient and it’s a huge plus to get that extra sleep we would lose if we had to drive out from home as there running events are always early.
Tiffany and I have a running event scheduled every month through April, so it was awesome getting the first one done in 2023!
