Rainy Wednesday - We Are Alive IAAC #763 - Actifit: May 11, 2022

On my Wednesday it rained quite a bit for much of the day, but I still got a few pictures, my phones battery was empty for part of it though so the app did not count all the steps.

As to my online activities I focused on the daily tasks for the most part, and got them all done before going to bed, which was nice.

This is also my participation in the #POLIAC competition run by @poliac aka @browery, and my participation in #MAcFiT from @macfit aka @merthin.

It does look wet.

I hate it when my phone dies and I don't catch all the steps. It happened to me yesterday too just when I am eagerly trying to catch up again on Poliac!

It's also been raining here on and off. Some days it's really hot and the next few days it'll rain almost non-stop here.

This makes it hard to plan working in the yard though, but oh well we should make the most of the sunny days here.

!LOL I'm good, I mean the water in my garden is gone rather quickly, whenever it stops raining. But other parts of the country - especially the villages in the South - are flooding, because of having settled near the river(s) and other factors.

No we don't. In Suriname people usually built up and basements and attics aren't usual here. When homes are being built, the construction of the floor is also built quite high, because either the garden will be leveled up in the near future and/or because to prevent flooding.
