Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday was mostly about yard work. As I mentioned, I finally completed the maintenance on the mower, so it was time to mow! The lawn was already tall, so it took quite some time. But it got done! Kaia inaugurated the newly mowed lawn with a few down/stay.
I took the time to relax a bit before we started our long walk of the day with Kaia. As often, just in time to catch the sunset. But it was a weird one. A thin veil was in front of the sun making it a bright pinkish color.
That veil kept getting thicker until the sun was just a faint circle. Even before disappearing behind the trees, it just faded away behind this mist, or whatever it was.
I was kind of tired but we had to stop by the forest of course, for Kaia to have her off-leash time.
Probably she was tired too because even though she appeared to catch something scent, she didn't even go after it.
I wanted to visit another park this week end, just to change from our forest. But that yard work couldn't wait. Maybe next week end, this is a long one for Memorial Day.
