Hey Actifitters,
My internet went down Sunday night and it was still not fixed yesterday. Of course, that meant I couldn't work normally, except for a few long meetings on the phone. At least I could rack up some steps because instead of sitting at my desk, I was pacing in the yard, enjoying the good weather.
That made the meetings less boring but Le Chat wasn't entertained apparently.
That also meant I had more time than usual for sports activities. With the haze from the past few days still there, we started with a walk to the forest with Kaia.
First a quick look at all the flowers.
But Kaia wanted to also check the Lily of the valley.
So I followed her to the area where we can find the most of it.
The scent is still very strong, even if we're nearing the end of its season.
We also saw this cute chipmunk. So fast Kaia doesn't even bother chasing it.
We walked for a while but it was pretty warm, especially for Kaia, all tongue out!
So we walked back and I got ready for a run. By that time, the heat wasn't as bad actually. After my run, I could see the sun from the deck. This is kind of rare because of all the trees.
That motivated me for a second walk with Kaia. We were just in time to catch the sunset again. Just as hazy as yesterday.
And more wildlife on the way back. Kaia pretended she wanted to chase them, but she barely pulled on the leash. I guess she was as tired as I was!
And that was it. Obviously not much done at work, but very active, so it was a good day!
